Customizing Business Solar Power Solutions in Chester County Pennsylvania

  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by paul casciotta: Every step that Lumina Solar said that was going to happen when installing my Solar happened when they said and was floorless. The entire staff was professional in there dealing with us through the process. I would recommend Lumina Solar for you Solar needs.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by Matthew Cawthorne: I was really excited with the idea of getting a rooftop PV system, and Lumina had really good reviews. Their price was nearly identical to another very highly rated company in my area and I liked the look of the REC panels so we went with Lumina. During the initial sizing I proposed a symmetric configuration that was pleasing to the eye and was told 'we can discuss the exact configuration during the engineering phase'. Well, I was never contacted until all of the approvals were complete and at that point it was too late to get the configuration that I wanted. The Lumina configuration was unsymmetric and had 1 fewer panel on the highly productive south facing roof. It was not the end of the world, but I take pride in the aesthetics of my house. In the end I was able to get them to make it symmetric, but with the one less panel in the good orientation. The biggest problem, however is that the panels on the front of the house are in a nearly ideal orientation, facing almost south, and with a roof pitch that is good for this latitude. The 400+ watt panels are oriented well enough that they should be able to generate close to 400 watts during the middle of the day (cloud cover permitting). Lumina specified and installed 300 watt inverters so those panels never produce more than 300 watts. Instead of a sine wave for production I get a curve that is clipped flat on top. 300 watt inverters are ok for the back of the house where the sun angles are not as ideal and the panels cannot produce as much power, but not for the front. So why am I giving them 4 stars? Well, their Operations department that scheduled and performed the installation did a really good job and were a delight to work with. The workmanship is really good and everything has been functioning for the first 16 months of operation. There were no surprises in the pricing.
  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by nalini jairath: It has been just over a year since our solar panels were installed and we remain delighted with the quality of the work as well as the specifics of the associated warranty. We have had no problems/issues with our system. Ryan Cooke, specifically, worked with us to rightsize the project, sort out the specs and serve as our point of contact throughout installation. Since then, whenever we have questions, he has responded effectively and efficiently. He is professional, personable, extremely knowledgeable and responsive. He is also very patient as well sorted out the merits of different "packages" and extremely honest about the pros and cons of each.. We had multiple quotes for our solar panels and chose to work with Ryan and Lumina. Highly recommend!

  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by Dave grear: I GOT TIRED OF THE CONSTANT PPL PRICE GOUGING SO I LOOKED INTO A SOLAR SYSTEM AFTER MUCH INVESTIGATION I CHOSE LUMINA SOLAR. WITHIN A COUPLE DAYS OF CALLING THEM THEY WERE AT MY HOUSE SHOWING ME EVERYTHING I NEEDED TO KNOW ABOUT GOING SOLAR.I CHOSE THE LEASE PROGRAM SO FOR A LOW MONTHLY PAYMENT THEY WOULD NOT ONLY INSTALL BUT WILL MAINTAIN THE SYSTEM YAKING A BIG LOAD OFF MY MIND. THEY KEPT IN CONSTANT CONTACT THRU OUT THE PROCESS AND ANY LITTLE PROBLEM WAS IMMEDIATLY ADDRESSED AND RECTIFIED. DURING THE INITIAL INSPECTION PHASE IT WAS DETERMINED I NEEDED TO REPLACE MY 20 YR OLD ROOF AND THEY TOOK CARE OF THAT AS WELL WITH VIRTUALLY NO PROBLEM. MY SYSTEM HAS BEEN ACTIVE FOR OVER A WEEK AND I COULDN'T BE HAPPIER ESPECIALLY WHEN I AM PRODUCING EXCESS ENERGY AND SENDING IT BACK TO PPL SO THEY CAN PAY ME FOR A CHANGE. BOTTOM LINE LUMINA SOLAR IS THE BEST OF THE BEST!!!

  • Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by Stephen Wagner: From start to finish Lumina has been great, I first met Phillip he walked me through all the steps and answered every question I had no matter when it came up, then came install day, I was a little nervous honestly I just built my house in 2019 but I was greeted by the A team Ben Kimmel was the Manager , Jimmy the Lead Installer, with Haden And Dan, worked together like a well oiled machine, they had every step of the install down to a science, Mike the Lead electrician walked me through how the conduit would be run so it was attractive and didn’t stand out his crew James And Matt did an outstanding job. This crew was simply amazing, the level of care and clean up was exceptional, Late in the day after all the panels were up they went up on the roof for one more look over and cleaned every finger print off they could find, now if they pay attention to that detail I’m cleanup then I know every part of the install was treated with the Same level of care. Look no further for your solar needs!
