  1. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by Ihor Wolchuk: I met with eight or more solar providers and found that Lumina offered the best combination of equipment, financing, and reputation, based on their numerous positive reviews. It was a pleasure working with my project manager, Jack Wood, and Lumina’s design team. With my input, they revised the layout, number of panels, and overall design several times to address my concerns and fully maximize the potential of my three roof surfaces. Additionally, they managed to do it in an aesthetically pleasing way. After installation, one of my panels stopped working due to squirrel damage. Lumina’s monitoring service detected the issue the same day and promptly sent a repair crew to fix it. I couldn’t recommend the company more highly.
  2. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by Matthew Cawthorne: I was really excited with the idea of getting a rooftop PV system, and Lumina had really good reviews. Their price was nearly identical to another very highly rated company in my area and I liked the look of the REC panels so we went with Lumina. During the initial sizing I proposed a symmetric configuration that was pleasing to the eye and was told 'we can discuss the exact configuration during the engineering phase'. Well, I was never contacted until all of the approvals were complete and at that point it was too late to get the configuration that I wanted. The Lumina configuration was unsymmetric and had 1 fewer panel on the highly productive south facing roof. It was not the end of the world, but I take pride in the aesthetics of my house. In the end I was able to get them to make it symmetric, but with the one less panel in the good orientation. The biggest problem, however is that the panels on the front of the house are in a nearly ideal orientation, facing almost south, and with a roof pitch that is good for this latitude. The 400+ watt panels are oriented well enough that they should be able to generate close to 400 watts during the middle of the day (cloud cover permitting). Lumina specified and installed 300 watt inverters so those panels never produce more than 300 watts. Instead of a sine wave for production I get a curve that is clipped flat on top. 300 watt inverters are ok for the back of the house where the sun angles are not as ideal and the panels cannot produce as much power, but not for the front. So why am I giving them 4 stars? Well, their Operations department that scheduled and performed the installation did a really good job and were a delight to work with. The workmanship is really good and everything has been functioning for the first 16 months of operation. There were no surprises in the pricing.
  3. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by Justin Occhiogrosso: Smooth process overall from Lumina. (PECO drug their feet every step of the way, but that's another story.) Worked with a salesman named Jack. He was always professional. The install only took a few hours and was great.

  6. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by tim brodhead: Going solar is something I’ve thought about for years and finally decided to act on it. Jevon Ciciliot, my salesman reached out to me and drove all the way up to my house to discuss further and come up with a game plan with the most efficient system possible. Jevon was polite, respectful, professional, and knowledgeable. With such a major investment, naturally there are a ton of questions. Jevon was able to answer and explain everything in a way that doesn’t make your head spin. He also presented and carried himself like a friend that I’ve known for years. Jevon was always available to answer any questions that inevitably pop up and would get back to me promptly regardless of how busy his schedule may be. Once it came time for installation, the install crew also carried themselves professionally and worked quickly. I was told it was a 2 full day job to complete but they were done in a day and a half without any mistakes. They kept me in the loop throughout the install so I always knew how things were going. And most importantly they didn’t leave any mess behind once they were done. Overall I had an excellent experience.
  7. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by Dewey Isreal: My Experience was amazing with this company. They really know what they are doing. Philip (Rep) was extremely helpful and professional. Rosco the electrician was great and the installers did an amazing job. The finished product looks great and I will recommend this company to all of my friends and family.
  8. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by George K: Amazing Solar Company! From the start of the process, working with the PA Team Lead Philip Jordan on sizing, design and cost, through timely and professional installation, it has been a pleasure working with Lumina Solar. The project was completed on schedule and at the estimated cost. The system is well-suited for our needs today and in the future. Throughout the project I appreciated the timely follow-up by Philip answering any questions and ensuring I was kept current from installation through Permission to Operate. I HIGHLY recommend Lumina Solar!
  9. Review of Lumina Solar PA in Chester County Pennsylvania by Chris Endress: Everything at Lumina Solar has been such a great workflow. Speaking initially with our main contact Jack, was like having a conversation with a friend. He was not pushy and didn't act like a "sales man". He was also very knowledgable and able to answer every question we had. Installation with Lumina Solar flawless. The team worked quickly, proficiently and cleanly. They were able to also answer all the questions we had about the installation. Jack has also been available any time we had additional questions and was able to take care of any minor problems that came up. We are already seeing fantastic results in overall KWH produced and lower electric costs.
